Me, lately.

So, I haven't given anyone an update on myself lately, and since Cooper is almost 6 months old, I thought I'd update.  As some of you already know, I became a fitness instructor back in February of last year (coming up on 2 years) after losing over 40 pounds.  So, when I got pregnant with Cooper last August my goal was to gain little weight while being healthy, keeping my baby healthy, and working out the whole time.  Even though I ate well and exercised 4-6 times a week, I still managed to gain 40 pounds, which I was fine with.  Within 3 weeks of having Cooper I had lost 20 of that 40, but then I stopped. I have been continuing to eat well and I teach 7-10 fitness classes a week. I am learning that even though so many people say that breastfeeding will help the weight come right off, it's completely up to your genetics. If you have the body type to lose the weight after having a baby, it doesn't matter what you do, it's gonna come off.  Breastfeeding for me has made me keep the weight on, and I'm not going to lie, it's extremely frustrating.  I'm a size 8, and I range from 145 pounds to 150 pounds. I finally bought a pair of pants because I was annoyed of not having clothes that fit, and the 8's were a tad small, but 10s were too big.

This is where I am currently at.
